Thawing & Serving Instructions

For best results, follow these simple guidelines for serving Gefilteria gefilte fish:

  • 24 hours before serving, remove frozen gefilte fish terrine from packaging.

  • Using a sharp knife, slice the frozen terrine into desired segments (we recommend 12 slices). Place slices on paper towel-lined plate or platter and cover in plastic wrap.

  • Let thaw in fridge. Remove from fridge 30 minutes prior to serving.

  • Serve gefilte fish accompanied by fresh horseradish relish. Gefilte fish will be delicious for about 5 days after thawing.
