Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2023

We were invited along with YIVO to represent Yiddish Jewish culture at the acclaimed Smithsonian Folklife festival on the mall of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. It was an honor to be included among artisans and craftspeople from different ethnicities and religions across the United States. Running a pickling kitchen, demo-ing classic Jewish foods, and being in conversation with other cultural leaders was a professional highlight for the Gefilteria team.
